Postgame Extra – Milwaukee vs. UIC

Game #18 – Milwaukee 87, UIC 75

Player of the Game -
Tony Meier finished with a game-high 22 points to go with five rebounds, three assists, two steals and no turnovers in 38 minutes. He went 7-of-12 from the field, including 4-of-6 from three-point range.

Turning Point - UIC had cut UWM's seven-point halftime lead to three at 41-38 inside the first minute of the second half. The Panthers responded with an 18-4 run to push its lead to 17 at 61-44 just over five minutes later. Milwaukee lead would extend to 23 by the 9:43 mark.

Stat That Mattered - The Panthers could do little wrong from three-point range, making 12-of-19 for the game for a 63.2 percent shooting clip. Kaylon Williams made his first four from long distance, including a half-court shot to end the first half. Tony Meier also made four 3's in the game.

The Notebook - Milwaukee tied its all-time series with UIC, 20-20 ... the Panthers have won the last six meetings ... their 63.2 percent shooting from three-point range is the fourth-best shooting clip in school history ... UWM made 10+ three-pointers for the fifth time in its last eight games and have sunk 48 threes over its last four ... the Panthers shot better than 50 percent for the second-straight home game and the fifth time this season ... they are 4-1 in those games ... Tony Meier topped 20 points for the fourth time this season.
