Postgame Extra – Milwaukee at Valparaiso

Player of the Game - Tony Meier was the only player to reach double figures for Milwaukee, scoring a game-high 16 points. He also had four rebounds in 26 minutes.

Turning Point - Milwaukee missed its first 12 field goals and had nine turnovers in the first 12 minutes of the game. The Panthers never recovered from that start.

Stat That Mattered - UWM had 16 turnovers for the game, with 12 coming in the first half. Milwaukee had not committed more than 10 in any of its three previous games.

The Notebook - Milwaukee shot a season-low 28.3 percent. It is the third time this season UWM has shot less than 30 percent from the field … the Panthers’ two made three-pointers also marked a season low … this was the fourth time this season UWM scored fewer than 50 points Its season low was 40 at Wisconsin … the shooting numbers simply weren’t good for the Panthers to start the game. UWM missed its first 12 field goal attempts and was then 1-of-15 at one point. Milwaukee also missed its first nine 3-point attempts … UWM wound up 4-of-19 in the first half with 12 turnovers … Tony Meier reached double figures for the seventh time in the last eight games … everyone dressed for the game outside of redshirt Evan Richard played in the contest … Milwaukee used 12 players in the first 12 minutes of the game alone.
