Post-Game Wrap-Up: Milwaukee @ Cleveland State

Post-Game Wrap-Up: Milwaukee @ Cleveland State
Game #14 –Cleveland State 76, Milwaukee 60

Full game recap and stats here

Player of the Game - Lindsay Laur. This is something of a previous works award. Five-straight double-doubles is quite an achievement. It was not her most impressive double-double (13p, 11r), but it was the one that tied the school record. Special mention goes to Courtney Lindfors, who posted her second-straight solid game. She scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed 7 boards.

Turning Point - 16:01-4:24 in the second half. UWM went 0-for-12 from the field and turned the ball over 10 times. CSU went on a 15-6 run over that time to turn a 2-point game into an 11-point game.

Stat That Mattered - 24 turnovers. That scoreless streak started with 5-straight turnovers. The Panthers were stifled in their comeback bids with miscues.

The Notebook - Laur tied the school record for consecutive double-doubles and double-digit rebounding games (5) … she also tied Erica Young for third in school history with 20 career double-doubles … Laur tied Niki Flack for 12th in school history on the career scoring list (1,121) … Kimee Chandler hit multiple 3-pointers in her third-straight game.

Up Next - Milwaukee continues its road trip at Youngstown State Saturday. The Panthers and Penguins kick off at noon central time.
