Player of the Game - Lindsay Laur and Angela Rodriguez. The two played as one in the second half. They connected on numerous plays and combined for 43 points on 16-of-20 shooting, 6-of-6 on threes, and 13 assists.

Turning Point - 14:14 remaining in the game. Gina Lange made a layup to make it 43-41 Valpo. That woke Milwaukee up, as it responded with nine-straight points and never looked back.

Stat That Mattered - 57.1 percent shooting. Milwaukee went from its lowest shooting percentage of the season last Saturday to its highest tonight.

The Notebook - UWM’s 64.3 percent from three-point range tied the fourth-best single-game shooting percentage in school history (Feb. 13, 1999) … Milwaukee is now 3-1 all-time on Jan. 27 … Laur’s 27 points are a career-high and her 7 assists tied a career-high … she took sole possession of fifth place in school history with her 15th career 20-point game. She is also fifth with 65 career double-digit scoring games … Rodriguez had her third game of the season with 4-or-more threes.
