Man of the Match: One could make an argument for several Panthers in this match. Freshman Gerardo Saavedra made his first collegiate goal a memorable one, netting the eventual game-winner on a great shot in the 75th minute. Senior Keegan Ziada was also very active, ending the night with a game-high eight shot attempts.

Youth is Served: UWM started, count 'em, six freshmen tonight, with Saavedra, Adam Hutchinson, Alex Megna, Richard Johnson, Laure Bell and Zach Stevenson all in the starting 11.

Taking Shots: The Panthers have now tallied an impressive 50 shots in two games this season. The 30 tonight is the highest tally since 32 against Cleveland State nearly five years ago - October 15, 2006.

Up Next: Milwaukee takes on Western Michigan at 3 p.m. Sunday and are in the driver's seat for the team title after play Friday evening.
