Player Of The Match: Rachel Neuberger had a great weekend and capped it with her best match of the season Saturday night. The sophomore middle blocker tallied 17 kills while hitting .552. She is now hitting .328 for the season and is tied for the team lead with 22 blocks.

Key Stats: Defense told the story for the Panthers Saturday night. UWM collected 93 digs in the win, with five players reaching double figures. Milwaukee limited Drake to a .077 hitting percentage.

News and Notes: UWM’s Drake Invite title is its first of an in-season tournament since the Panthers won Bradley’s tournament in 2008 … Rachel Neuberger’s 17 kills marked a collegiate-high, the third-straight match where a Panther set a new career best … Neuberger was joined by Kerri Schuh and Morgan Potter on the all-tournament team, with Schuh claiming MVP honors … Milwaukee’s 93 digs marked an early-season high, while Drake’s .077 hitting clip is the lowest mark by an opponent this year … Elizabeth Egerer did not play Saturday night because of an injury. She was also limited in Saturday’s earlier match after collecting 23 kills in Friday’s win over Wyoming … freshman Hannah Blanchard started in her place and had nine kills.

Up Next: UWM is home for the first time next week, playing four times at the Klotsche Center. Action starts Tuesday with a 7 p.m. contest against Northern Illinois.
