Audio Game Highlights

Player of the Game - Lindsay Laur. In addition to getting her 1,000th career point, Laur was the team’s most consistent threat on offense today. She added 8 rebounds and 3 steals.

Turning Point - 56-51. Milwaukee pulled within five after trailing by as many as 19, but, after a timeout, was outscored 16-6 down the stretch.

Stat That Mattered - UNI: 7-for-16 on first-half three-point attempts. The visiting Panthers jumped out to what became an insurmountable lead by draining 7 first-half 3’s.

The Notebook - Despite hitting just 2 three’s, Milwaukee converted four 3-point plays with free throws … Laur is the eighth Panther to score 1,000 points solely in the Division I era (since 1990) … she is also just the ninth person to have 1,000 career points and 500 rebounds (third in Division I) … the Panthers hit a three-pointer in their 246th-straight game.

Laur to 1,000 - Lindsay Laur had 19 points to push her career total to 1,005. She is the 16th player in school history with 1,000 career points. She did in her 99th career game, the 10th fastest to 1,000 points in school history.

Up Next - Milwaukee hits the road for four-straight games to close out the non-league slate. The Panthers kick off the trip at #25 Michigan State Wednesday. The teams tip off at 6 p.m. central time.
