Player of the Game - Lindsay Laur. Playing her first collegiate game in her home state, Laur led the Panthers with 14 points and 7 rebounds. She also had 3 assists. She scored the team's last 6 points of the first half.

Turning Point - After Angela Rodriguez made it 9-8 Minnesota early in the first half, UWM did not make another field goal for over seven minutes and just one more over an eight-minute span. The Gophers used that to build a 32-14 lead.

Stat That Mattered - 21.9 percent. The Panthers shot just 21.9 percent in the first half and never recovered.

The Notebook - Angela Rodriguez has now scored in double-figures in each of her first three collegiate games ... UWM's 15 turnovers were a season low ...
