Neuberger put together a stellar weekend defensively, collecting an amazing 27 blocks over the two matches. She started by recording 10 in the win over Wright State Friday night before adding a collegiate-best 17 in the five-setter with Valparaiso Saturday. The 17 blocks is easily the best tally in the league this season and Neuberger’s double-figure performances this weekend are two of just six around the league this year. She became the first Panther to reach double figures in blocks in two-straight matches since Natalie Schmitting in 2007.
