Play of the Game: Milwaukee gave the Badgers all they could handle for 25-plus minutes, but could not overcome that 16-2 run that gave UW an insurmountable 55-37 lead.
Key Stats: Despite a clear size disadvantage, UWM hung with the Badgers on the boards and only trailed the final rebound count by a 52-46 tally. The Panthers also had 32 points in the paint.
News and Notes: The Panthers set a program record for fewest turnovers per game last season and picked up right where they left off, finishing with just nine turnovers on the night.
