Player Of The Weekend: Tony Meier has picked a great time to get hot. The senior averaged 21.5 points per game in two wins this weekend, making 70 percent of his shots overall and 11-of-16 from three-point range. He also went past 1,000 career points in Saturday’s victory over Loyola, a game in which he scored 26 points.

Key Stat: Milwaukee has shown signs of being a stellar three-point shooting team throughout the season but the Panthers have put it together lately. UWM made 25-of-45 from beyond the arc in its two wins this weekend, making 14 in the win at UIC and 11 more in knocking off Loyola.
