Here is a note from the athletics world that will benefit UWM's School of Engineering, as the estate of late NASCAR standout Alan Kulwicki is making a large donation to his alma mater.
Kulwicki, a Wisconsin native, died in a plane crash in April 1993. He graduated from UWM in 1977 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
