Welcome to Rocky Miller Park and today's non-conference contest between the Panthers and the Northwestern Wildcats.
UWM is about as hot as they come, having won 13 of it's past 15 games. The team swept a pair from Northern Illinois yesterday to improve to 11-1 at home.
Join us on the live blog HERE.
Northwestern is having a down season at 12-26.
Line-ups will be in shortly and I will have them as soon as possible. I will post them on the live blog page as soon as they are passed on to me...

One Final Spring Competition Weekend
I do plan to post a full spring recap on the main site sometime this week, but I did want to quickly recap the results from the final weekend of spring competition for the Panther volleyball team.
Last Thursday at the Klotsche Center, the Panthers pulled out a five-set thriller over crosstown rival Marquette. Head coach Susie Johnson was excited about how her team played in a match that felt a lot more like a regular season contest than a spring exhibition tilt.
Then Saturday at Northwestern, the Panthers actually split into two teams and found their stride by the afternoon. After losing to both the host Wildcats and UIC during the morning session, each of the UWM teams beat NU and UIC during the afternoon. And understand, these weren't split into an 'A' and 'B' team. The squads were pretty balanced, meaning UWM pulled out some wins in the afternoon with defensive specialists Lauren Felsing and Lauren Hintze, for example, playing in the front row. Neither of the other two teams split their squads, as the event was a four-team tournament with two of those teams coming from UWM.
While the competitive portion of the spring is over, the Panthers will run practices through this week. Then they will be officially off until preseason practice opens in early August.

Busy Weekend Wraps Up Spring
The Panther volleyball team wraps up its spring exhibition season with a busy weekend. UWM will host Marquette this afternoon at 4:30 pm in a single match before heading to Northwestern for action Saturday.
Saturday's slate will see the Panthers split into two teams for matches with Northwestern and UIC.
UWM played well at a tournament at Loyola this past weekend. The Panthers split two sets with Michigan State while also claiming victories over Southern Illinois, Northern Iowa and Eastern Illinois.
By the way, for those interested, the match today will be played at the Klotsche Center and admission is free.

Live Blog: Baseball at NIU
Good afternoon and welcome to DeKalb, Ill., for today's single game between the Panthers and the Northern Illinois Huskies.
NIU had to postpone what was supposed to be a game against Valpo yesterday - since they got essentially the same amount of snow Milwaukee did Sunday. But, the field looks OK today even though they did keep the players off and had batting practice indoors.
Follow along with the live blog HERE.
Milwaukee's lineup looks like this:
Andy Gerhartz (2B), Doug Dekoning (CF), Josh Groves (DH), Chaun Wegner (C), Ben Long (1B), Shawn Wozniak (RF), Dan Buchholz (3B), Tim Patzman (LF) and Cole Kraft (SS).
NIU is:
Jones (SS), Buonavolonto (2B), Hood (LF), Reynolds (1B), Behm (DH), Behren (C), WHite (3B), Hermsen (RF) and Minogue (CF).
Pitching today for UWM is Nate Caldwell, 0-2 in 3 games.
For NIU, Tom Barry, 1-0 with a 7.00 ERA in 4 games.
